Fixtures
Yesterday the fixtures for the 2009 Engage Super League campaign were released. The Rovers will kick off the season with arguably the hardest 3 games available, with the first being a trip away to the Bradford Bulls. Following on from the tricky away tie, the Robins line up with a home game against the Super League Champions Leeds Rhinos, then a massive game away at St Helens.

Some would argue that it's better to play the top sides early on, others would prefer an easier start to ease into the season.

Rovers draw Wire AGAIN
For the third time in four years we have drawn Warrington out of the 'hat'.

Ever since our famous Challenge Cup victory in our promotion season, the Wolves have pretty much dominated us in all competitions claiming the points in all but one SL match up which happened to be nothing short of a complete miracle.

Welham looks to put on weight
After an impressive rookie season for Krissy Welham the young centre will look to be a permanent face in the starting line up next season.

After featuring 12 times this campaign and scoring 5 trys the centre will work with Billy Mallinson to put on the kilos ahead of pre season training:

"At the minute I'm about 86 kilos, but I feel I should be up around 90 kilos which Billy tells me is a good weight." Welham told the Hull Daily Mail.

Cockayne signs 3 year deal!?!
According to yesterdays Rugby League papers, Ben Cockayne has penned a new 3 year deal thus putting to bed the Cas rumours that have been circling around East Hull.

The fans favourite has been in fantastic form most of the season playing in many different roles for Justinl, scoring 9 trys so far this campaign.
