| I was just dreaming about what the Ellis genie might do next ... and I got to thinking about the redevelopment of the upper north stand... obviously I hear about the use of the land to the perimeter wall to create a food mall at the back and top of the stand... but wouldn't it be fantastic to create an interactive Trinity museum underneath the stand with access through the older Doncaster Road turnstiles... be great for school and community visits and add personality to the venue
sometimes I let my imagination run free

Looking at that, it really looks like the terracing re-profiling will (certainly should), be extended and continue down the Western Terrace, when it is re-done.

dboy: Looking at that, it really looks like the terracing re-profiling will (certainly should), be extended and continue down the Western Terrace, when it is re-done. Would be nice, but it all depends whether or not the plans in place are a permanent fixture or not. Clearly the redesign of the roof is on the back of consultation with the LA, so what we are seeing on the portal is as much as we can do, subject to buying all the properties behind the WT and doing a full rebuild.

I was thinking more on the lines of sacrificial works, no point re-profiling the terraces if there are greater plans in the pipeline.
