Looking forward to this one, with so much riding on the result for us - win this and we've made sixth I think. Our squad's looking pretty strong, and Cas's is looking pretty depleted. I'd like to see something like:
Rourke
Russell
Scott
Pratt
Johnstone
Trueman
Lino
McMeeken
Hood
Fa'atili
Storton
Griffin
Pitts
Smith
Atoni
Cozza
Niketemo
Jowitt
And expect Cas to line up something like:
Hoy
Tate
Wood
L Senior
Wallis
Asi
Atkin
Singleton
Horne
Lawler
Mellor
Simbiken
Westerman
Robb
Stimson
Mustapha
Salabio/Griffin
Would leave Griffin out ,turning in to a penalty machine and pack looks a lot more mobile and faster when he is not in .Think Smith looks good enough now to have a lot more minutes than Hood ,as with Griffin we look a lot faster with Smith on the park . Good to see Trueman getting more involved on the park but a bit surprised by the lack of pace over 35 yards Hopefully the more he plays the faster he will get .Know fans keep saying speed is not everything but think you need it from a 6
I’m not doing this again! Can someone sort this forum out!!!!!!
I just thought I’d give replying a try again and start engaging more and as I’d typed out a response it refreshed and I lost the whole thing.
This forum is an absolute disgrace in its current state and there needs to be some urgent fixes to at least make it useable.
In short to alegend. I agree with you on Griffin who’s had a few poor games going forward and discipline and Nikotemo looked good last week. Griffin may get bench spot but Storton and Nikotemo to start.
As for Truman I think you say that because he got caught from 35 out by a young full back at the line by a good tackle. I think you’re off the mark there and Trueman is adequately fast enough. We don’t need him to be a super fast 6 who finishes. We need him to create the opportunities like last week with Roarke and organise. Also he backed up well from more than 35 out for his try.
