Sorry for the delay in the addition of the props and the vote for the Hooker, I've been a busy bee lately.



Right, now to what I think is the most competitive position of the team - The Hooker.



I'll start the ball rolling with Paul Rowley, no matter what happened after his move and the feelings he may have towards Fax. Rolo was a class act for us and his performances for us in 2000 (his one and only season for us in the decade) got him the hooking role for England in the 2000 World Cup.

Ben Fisher, Came over as a relative unknown on a reccomendation from Greg Florimo and Ben Black (IIRC), There was a reason why Brian Noble was seen scouting him at The Shay and I seem to remember The Bulls making an offer for him.

Always seem to have been strong in this position. Rowley, Lawless, Penky, Glees, Fish.

Try to remember it's across the decade not career. Rowley for instance only played one season for Halifax in this decade in 2000.

For me I'd be looking between Penky, Lawless, Fisher, Rowley or even Gleeson who has been just as good over the last 18 months with us.



The question is does one season mean more than 3 or 4 seasons?

Rolo by a country mile. Ouzed class, no other hooker we have had for many many years could lace his boots.

For the 90's it would have been Rowley, without doubt. For 00's it would be Lawless or Penky for me
