Quote jensenFF="jensenFF"Fax by far the better team . Deserved the win well played WBH. Murrell targeted in defence by oposition again kicking behind him . butler was my mom why do we keep not passing to him 20 yds from opponents line. Thought salty had a very hit and miss game McGrath back for me . Signs Adam is coming back to running fitness in second half. Overall a good performance but reality was that's the worst Batley team performance I can remember for many years.'"
I read your posts and think I have watched a different game.

Opposition kicking behind Muzza? That's why you place your winger and fullback as we do. The only time a half back is going to defend a kick is a little chip over the top as happened today and Johnno read it perfectly.
As for Butler you can't do the same move over and over, it does not work like that, the gap is not always there to run in to and by taking other options you ask different questions of the defence allowing those moves you want to see all the time to work.
For Salty ask the pack if he were hit and miss. As much as I think Mcgrath is a decent prospect he would not got through the work that either Heaton and Salty did today. They were both picked ahead of him for that reason.
I thought we played well for about 40 minutes. In the first 25 minutes we were really good and probably did enough to win the game, last 15 of the first half I thought Batley came in to the game as we made a few errors. In the 2nd half batley were on top for quite a bit of it and if you think that is the worst Batley performance you can remember then Im going to have to disagree. I thought they all worked very hard for each other and put in a decent performance considering their injury list.
Just a note on the ref, I thought it was one of the poorer performances we have seen this season as he constantly baffled fans and players with decisions. They say you can't change a ref's mind but this happened on at least 2 occasions today.
