was another increased crowd on sunday compared to the previous 2 home matches we needed to do well especially at home to keep the support increasing through the season.

Although I do not agree with most of chinamans post as I hope it was just a kneejerk reaction to a very disapointing game for us all.But it`s gone now and nothing we can do about it I think we were outplayed simple as.Lets hope it`s a wake up call and we don`t play again like that.

But one thing I do agree is it has come at a bad time(if theres ever a good time) the most important issue faceing our club at the moment is ,the need to increase the crowd ,of late I have seen people back down at this club that have not been for years .I have seen Bradford and Huddersfield supporters who have come down to take a look.I have also seen new supporters that have started to come down to see what all the fuss is about one lady stopped me to say she was a new supporter the lady was proabably in her 70s thought she would come along because her husband had persuaded her to come down to help the club out.How do you hang onto people like those if the rugby is,

like it was when they stoped comeing years ago,

or if it`s like what is on offer at Bradford ,

or it`s easier to stay at home and do your kniting.

We just needed a few games of playing well wether we get beaten or not to keep these people coming back till they become hooked.



Hopefully it was a one off.

You lot will get some performances like that too. Do you really think we are now easy beats for you?

your all getting a bit carried away, losing one game is not the end of the world. you'll be back on form next week againest doncaster, this loss will give your players a wake up call.

Exactly...a bad day at the office against a team who wanted it more and who made far fewer errors.

I agree 100% - better to get a performance or lack of one out of the way early than have one in a game that matters - a final or semi final. Might be the loss that just makes our season - wont take anyone lightly now.

Correct, champion teams lose games, thats a fact of life. It's how we deal with it now. Everyone's entitled to their opinions but to criticise Calland is a joke after 1 defeat.

try remembering 88-6 at Hull KR 3years ago and you'll soon forget about this blip, christ we are not a full time team so will have to expect the odd slip up. We tonked Leigh in their promotion season when we were v average team, Sheffield are better than we were then .

Do you not think there may have been an element of inevitability about that performance, after the Cas' game? That would have taken a colossal amount out of your guys, who will surely come back firing on all cylinders. (unfortunately, as we still have to play you three times!)

Very possibly....we did look a spent force at times during the game.

We all hope so but the short turn around probably won't do us any favours. I think one thing that all fans can agree on is that this will be the closest season yet. Lots to look forward to!
