One reason. Heathcotes who run the stadium outlets, have no more games for a while, so they did not want a lot of persihables left over as they would lose money. So basically they care not about the consumer but only about themselves. They will still have made a killing even knowing they would run out early. I'm all right jack and all that.

Thw wife managed a full episode of Eastenders on the TV by the beer queue!

We did drink rather a lot!





There was a stall selling beer out of cans in West Stand but we finished them off before most Fax fans had arrived.





After they stopped serving most Cougars fans just left for the pubs at half time.



The whole thing was a disgrace and Warrington should never host finals or international again, it isn't equipped for it.

I think the ground is okay, at least it still has standing.

What let it down was the lack of control for the matchday traffic and the catering.

Headingley would be better I agree but would certainly not want to share SL Grand Final day with the Sooper Dooper league fans, no thankyou!



It makes me think how good the Shay is going to be with the East Stand as provided the catering is looked at (the Leigh lads we stood near on Sunday say the firm who do the LSV are not very good and they will be doing the Shay) and lessons learned by them and CMBC it will be terrific as near the Shay are 3 good pubs (Shears, Pump Rooms and Three Pigeons) plus The Shay (hotel) for those who just want a pint!

Add to that the South Stand Lounge plus I believe a new bar in the East Stand.

It is also near town.

I thought the pitch was a mess quite honestly as several players had trouble staying on their feet.



You could hope next season they play it at Leigh Sports Village.

We Leythers won,t mind you Yorkies drinking the place dry of Carling.

Didn't anyone at the catering firm think to nip over to tesco to buy some more beer, they would have still achieved over 100% mark up selling cans at £3 a pop

Son went could not park either,had to park in the town.If Leigh get automatic promotion it should be held there as car parking is 1st class and the stadium will need the cash.

Not sure if the RL look at public house proximity when choosing a venue.I don't know why people have to get themselves full of beer before a game but if you must then there are plenty of decent pubs 10/15 minutes walk away in the town centre if you can be d walking that far.I saw quite a few fans outside the Barley Mow and Wetherspoons.

We had RFL approved disabled pass ended up parked in a dead end in the car park behind two other cars at end of Martin Dawes stand.Walking round to West stand passed the stadium ticket office and there were 4 disabled bays with cones in front and stewards stood by them.RFL said there were 30 disabled spaces,our pass was number 22 yet all the spaces except these 4 were full 10 mins into the Keighley game.Info from RFL said bars would be closed 30 mins before full time of our game,they had been open all day for two games with smaller crowds yet the game with the biggest crowd sees the bar shut early.Couldn't organise a p*** up.Don't know that Headingley would be any better, friends went the year Cas played and there were problems getting in and out with lots of people crammed into small area behind stand and lots of pushing and shoving.

It's a final, a reason to celebrate (whatever the eventual outcome) and social occasion.
