Can't believe anyone is seriously suggesting Headingley - can you imagine how poor the atmosphere would be with 7,000 spread about the place? Yorkshire will get the final once it builds itself some decent 12-16,000 capacity stadiums (and don't say Donny because the atmosphere is bobbins there even with 13,000 on).

I have racked my brains and there are no other grounds suitable besides Warrington or maybe Blackpool as they have the right capacity, more or less on the M62 corridor and are near to the town centre. Headingley is still 3/4 antiquated. Salfords new ground is in a rough area, Saints and Wigan grounds too big, Widnes ground is in the middle of an industrial park, Galpharm too big, Leigh and Donny would be good venues but its a no-go as they could contest the finals.

Shame York can't sort themselves (ourselves?) out with a 10,000 stadium. 6 teams playing there one weekend would be emotional.

I believe it shoud be played at either Castleford or Wakefields NEW grounds as they will be ready NEXT year or so they say !...........
