I think there's about 10 people who have said they would subscribe if it were done right. That's about £350 to start with and I should imagine there's a few company's would pay for sponsorship on the site. Copy Leigh's idea it's pretty good.

The Kit doesn't seem too bad, I don't think anyone expects or wants Sky Sports HD standard. The microphones work, the camera works etc. The ambient noise levels are the only real negative. Location Location Location!!!!



This next point will probably be controversial, but why should the forum or the fans sponsor Fax TV? We already put plenty into the club on matchday, Entry fee, programme, a few beers in the bar, a burger and chips. Replica shirt, hoody, rain jacket, hat, (all x2 as my son gets the same).



Paying a minimal fee for a subscription to it isn't too drastic but surely the overheads for this venture are minimal!!!



Anyway, I stand by to be called a numpty.

Location for yesterday, well it was quiet until Crusaders staff didn't notice the camera. Oh well, we learn or I learn I should say.

Point taken, if the camera, microphones are yours and you need better ones, then the club should provide replacements.

But I still feel, in the right, quiet location, the microphones you have are fine.



Overall its just good to see a bit of behind the scenes interviews etc, well done

I don`t think Tiran is suggesting that the sponsorship / donations should be compulsary ,so all the people some time back who suggested "they would pay for a service like this " and queeried " Leigh have this why can`t we " if they wish to contribute then I think it`s fair enough .

I think fair play to Tiran he`s followed through with his own initiative and is trying it out to see if it would work and I say well done for that . If it was me I would carry on doing what your doing for a few more weeks without yet asking for members in order to generate interest especially if you are going to the away games

( or would this require more personel expenses ?) Then ask for members to contribute maybe it`s not the best of times to generate money but I for one admire tremendously anyone who doesn`t say "can`t be done " but "how can we do it "

we must try to get the feel good factor back . It might be an idea also if any business could have an idea of the cost but I would think having an advert popping up on the programme shown would be quite good exposure .

By the same token anyone who thinks they already pay enough towards the Club with various things especially as times are tough so it`s understandable, don`t have to contribute but even they might know a small business willing to take a punt .We could all help in some way .

Selling some sponsorship for Fax TV could be beneficial, and help buy equipment if needed.



From what I've seen its alright, its not a well polished silky smooth production like sky have, but its no worse than what premier sports did either! Its early days, it can only improve. Perhaps an appeal to fans who have experience in this sort of thing or are doing a related college course could be beneficial?



As for Alex Simmons, no great loss. Big mouth, no action. I remember a few months ago I said on here he seemed more bothered about the bulls only to be told that Fax came first, that lasted didnt it? Was only out for himself. I'd rather see hard working dedicated people at the club, something we're lucky we're not short of.

Well I think I have sourced a new microphone and I have organised some features for the coming weeks.



Funding - it was only and off the cuff idea

Regarding local collages and so forth - lots of stuff talked about but very little action so I decided to give it a go. For those who don't know by now, I have hosted a radio show for nearly 10 years now so I have experience interviewing but the video editing knowledge with the polish is my downfall.

Personally I think he deserves a great deal of credit for getting it off the ground and persevering. I like his idea of getting some of the players to comment after the game but feel that after games like yesterday it would be extremely difficult.

Credit to Karl for agreeing to the interview especially as unlike Radio Leeds he is not obliged to do so.

Perhaps one of the rooms upstairs might help you with the noise/interruptions problems Pete.

How much funding would you need to make the improvements you want to.

All the very best to you and well done , the funding idea is a good one but you may get a better response if people can see what they will be geting for their money as plenty of people did seem interested in being members .

I will keep trying for a couple of weeks, try and give it some legs then we can see where it stands then.

and yes location wasn't great but that mic on the camera is designed to pick everything around it so a dedicated mic might help - we shall see.

Good on you for taking the initiative Triran. I think there's a huge lack of internet presence from Fax. Even the website could have more effort put in to it imo in terms of features and interviews with players etc etc so your videos are very welcome. I wouldn't worry too much about the location, you'd just think the Crusaders staff would be abit more considerate of an ongoing interview. I thought Karl was going to say something to them at one point lol. Looking forward to fridays video.
