Was it just delaying tactics, very close to signing for us last season, verbally agreed to sign this year, were Fev worried he might sign for a contender in the Championship. Wait until all the players in that position are signed by us and then release him.

I wish we still had him this season but I wish him well in S/L He didn't fit in the plans with the new coach as there seems to be changes happening but as we all know clubs have to keep moving and improving just hope it turns out to be right for Fev and Finn does well in S/L then everyone's a winner

They have a massive squad at Fev, I read somewhere that there is/was 38 players signed. When some realise that they aren't in the new coaches plans, or that they are going to have to earn a place, they may want to leave. Same at any club with a large squad.

Has the salary cap changed ?. With a squad of 38 it's a average wage of less than £8000. Wouldn't be putting my body on the line for that.

Well if Gareth Moore isn't guaranteed a place for every match he will go into his usual mega-sulk. I never could stand the guy and he is a poor substitute for Liam Finn in my opinion.
