It's that time of the year again when we we have to listen to the total crap spouted by people "in the know" and 90% of it usually turns out to be total bollox. So far we have lost Shad, I'll believe the rest as and when it is announced.

I seem to remember it was fairly late last year when we finally got everyone on board. Who would have predicted Shad to Odsal? Let's just wait an see.

Am not at all concerned whos going, and whos coming, its always been like that, lots of our greats didnt stay with us long, Kilroy, Robinson, Eadie, Florimo etc we have had a few too many luxury players anyway, its just a shame we can't make a few quid when they leave.

We have some good younger players, if we add some more, which im sure we can, a lot of aspiring players would love to play for Halifax, we may only be a stepping stone for some, but the pack has improved vastly this year, a couple more good big young forwards, and well still hopefully have enough speed and guile behind them to be very competitive next year, I expect Widnes to be strong next year, they will have to be, they will have to have the basis of some kind that can be built on for SL, Fev will be strong, anyone who thinks were going to be weak next year is seriously mistaken, some of our lads haven't anywhere near peaked yet, Maloney, Barlow, Bowman, Worrincy, Ostick, Greenwood, when one door close, another one opens, opportunity is knocking for someone down the Shay, a new era will unfold. Don't panic Mr Mainwaring, a jolly boys outing to Blackpool, a top 4 finish and a small profit would do me next year.

I can`t imagine Gleese` heading anywhere just yet as his injury will keep him out for most of next season anyway , Branno` I doubt very much he will be going to France. Not sure about White but next....

I think we will see why Hall is so important to us.

Agreed, the one thing i cannot criticise MC and MH for is they have managed to attract some exciting players, i think they will have learnt also now that its better to get players on the rise rather than the slide, a smattering of older heads too maybe (but not as many as dads army and with functioning knees)

Right lets not talk about anything else apart from the grand final seen as certain people get on their high horse when a different topic apart from the grand final is brought up...!Yeah we are all looking forward to the final,i really cant wait but doesnt mean we cant have a little think about players we might/might not have next season does it
