Last year due to signing players before the RFL moved the goalposts it was a £400k cap which we used and then got dispensation along with a few others, Less the 6 figure sum of £100,000 equals the current salary cap of £300,000.
Its still as basic as it was when i did my GCSE's Take one figure, subtract the other = answer !
£400,000 - £100,000 = £300,000

To be fair though £231.34 is a six figure sum as well. 
I do have to mention though that J20 is correct in one of his other posts where he says Michael Steele had said that we wernt operating anywhere near the salary cap so the planned cuts wouldnt affect us anyway. It was a story that was printed in the Courier and carried quotes from our Chairman. |

It's Steele that needs to get it right, or the courier. |

What you banging on about? It doesn't make a difference where 100k cones from still needs to be cut regardless.
Yes can see why every player would love to sign for him...erm... Don't get me wrong the lure of Halufax's very strong side and good rugby also loacal to some (Gannnon) may shave a few quid off salary but be realistic in our league for players wages a couple if hundred quid makes more of a difference so to believe you get players for much less than others offer is a tad naive you must admit? |

We could plough our money into a yoof squad - no doubt. We could also finish in mediocre league positions as a result - much like Widnes. Simple fact is though - Widnes are nailed on for SL - Fax will never be this - without some heavy backing behind them. |
