I was impressed by Steve Ferris on the radio yesterday, he made it clear that he wants to make Cas the best it can be, and the best it can be depends on how much support the club gets from its fans. Given the level of support you've given (in vain) to the previous incumbent I would urge you to back the new guy - what he can achieve depends on your backing, and both Cas and Wakey have the ability to shine in SL.

So far, 38 people have voted for anythign other than option 1. This means (based on all voters being adults) that the club will miss out on £6,650 in ST sales. At times like this, the club needs us more than ever and like someone else has already said, we followed the Richard Wright saga through thick and thin. Perhaps we need to give this new set up a bit of time also?

Interestingly while the biggest number of voters is for non-renewal that is the option that seems to have fewest corresponding posts so we dont know:-

a) their reasons

b) that they are even Cas fans



The poll in it's current format was always less likely to generate a statistically valid sample than present a golden opportunity for the spleen venters, trolls and mischief makers. It will be a miracle if ST sales aren't down but we're not gonna learn by how many on here.

Trolls will have voted on option 5 in the main.

Ive been in worst positions with my club , Relegations,players leaving etc etc etc , at the end of day as much as things have gone wrong this season this club is in my blood (as it would be if i supported any other club) ,

I have got married around the club playing games I have had a daughter and i have lost a 9 year old son who supported the Tigers ,( the Tigers sent two players to our Josh's funeral which meant a lot to all our family ),

I co-edit the only unofficial Castleford Tigers fanzine with Disco another way my life is dominated by this club i love , so the answer to the original post is

YES I WILL DEFINATELY BE RENEWING MY SEASON TICKET

The club have given another reason not to renew today by letting Brierley go.



So now that brings the reasons up to:

- Not value for money

- Millward

- Letting the best youngsters leave, again

- Price increase despite wanting more fans to go on the back of the worst season in club history

- No clear future prospects



If Chase and/or Clark leave then that's it.

Ryan Brierley clear isn't one of the "best" youngster, hence his leaving the club without making his 1st team debut.

Where has a price increase been confirmed?
