| Without pandering to BM's balls up midweek, we got the performance but not the result.
I'm waiting for the deluge of forward pass threads, but I don't think that incident matters - I personally don't think we got the rub of the green, but I can't blame Wigan for that. Their defence was impressive, but so was ours and I think we pulled off the 3 man tackle quite well.
Burrow, Webb, Ablett, McGuire and Smith had good games. Hardaker looked impressive yet calm, and with a top class centre might have had a bit more room to work with. BJB backed up Tuesday's display of pace by doing Richards on the outside and putting in an altogether good performance.
I want BM gone as much as anyone else, but I think we will make the 8 and cause some teams problems. Unfortunately that will probably earn him another year.

Agree with most of that. Don't think Burrow was very good though: lost a lot of defensive linespeed and intensity when Buderus went of, and drive and organisation in attack. Not his fault, but Rob is just not equiped to play as a go-forward hooker. It was while he was on the pitch that Wigan dominated us. McShane would have offered more as a bench hooker.
Webb was good. Ablett was good. BJB looked really, really dangerous but needed more ball. Kylie had his best game for some time. Kirke did some decent things for a change in his time on the field, but don't think he played a minute of the second half?
Also, Wigan didn't play very well, IMO.
So BMcD got his wish. Better performance but no win. Can't say I'm that delighted with that, and I hope he's not either.

| If the team is capable of that level then it should produce it more often, the coach and players have to take a big look at themselves and ask what it means to them to be a part of Leeds RLFC because if that quality doesn't show itself every week they should be on their way out

i doubt he's delighted but it's certainly preferable to playing awful and winning.

I was surprised how poor Wigan's kicking game was. How many times did Webb take it on the full?
Burrow looked eager and he (and Ablett) made sure we went in leading at half time.
BJB looks like a real star and his pace is unbelievable.

| Better performace, but no win. Better but not happy. Regarding the forward pass the only thing annoying me is the sky team. They are harping on about if the cameras were not there we might have been given the mags try. That for me was the correct decision no try, but the obvious forward pass seems to have been forgotten

| The first 10 minutes after half time loss us the game. Yeah the first try came from a forward pass which should of been picked up by the touch Judge who was in line with it. But if we had been more alert at the kick off somebody would of been under the ball to take it on the full. Its the best Ive seen us play in a while but still think MD and his side kick need to go. I dont know what is said at half time but we always seem to come out with our heads in the clouds

Good pass from Burrow for the try but I wouldn't single him, McGuire or Smith out for having good games. McGuire and Webb made some bad errors that took the edge off their good contributions. Webs forward pass and back chat gave them the position to score and he missed the high kick off which led to their forward pass try. And Mcguire at times was doing a good impression of Senior with his defensive gaffs.
For me JJB worked his socks off and yet again our defensive lapses were when Buderus was off. Delaney was a big success in the 2nd row. Both young wingers did well.
Fatty Lauatiiti was a waste of a place and must be going to the same pie shop as Smith.
