Aussie legend Wally Lewis believes England should build their team around Kevin Sinfield.

Lewis the 1st winner of the Golden Boot in 1985 was on the panel for this years Golden boot and nominated Sinfield in 3rd place.

"I thought he has had a tremendous series and it's only great players who can play well out of position"

"England looked a different side throughout the 4 nations when sinfield was at dummy half.

For some reason England/GB haven't always used him well enough in the past but he was allowed to control things out there this year and showed how good he is.

Any more "experts" wanting to chelp/troll about Sinfields talent i refer you to the Great Wally lewis!!!

It's still only his opinion, much as those carried by the likes of Schofield, Clarke, O'Connor, McDermott, Carney etc are just theirs. What someone did on the field doesn't necessarily make them a great judge of talent on it. Stevo won a World Cup FFS, does that make his opinion better than anyone elses?

Wally Lewis was clueless at coaching level. I'd take his opinion with a pinch of salt.

So your saying that a legend of this great game of ours doesn't know a good/great player when he see's one , just because he wasn't a success at coaching

Ask Brian Mclenan (Who was the coach of the WORLD CHAMP KIWI'S)whether he thinks his captain is a good player, I think you might find the answer is YES!!!!

I'd hazard a bet if you asked "How good is Kevin Sinfield?" to every coach in SL and NRL, you'd get similar answers. But Cartman and tinyrod know best.
