Ita been a tough year to judge but for me he hasn't been as effective as he was at Hudds. Would need to see more from him next year.

So we have signed up the penalty machine. I should be disappointed but now we are a bottom of the table team I guess I have to be satisfied we have someone of his stature willing to sign up to play for us.

He's given a lot of penalties away but it's looked like he has been almost trying too hard this year. Hopefully with a secured contract, he will be more relaxed and will see the Ferres we used to watch at Hudds return.

I think he's done alright. He's looked at times like a player trying to do too much himself rather than just slot into a pattern, but that's indicative of the general struggles of the team at times.



At Huddersfield he benefited from an almost telepathic understanding with Brough. It'll take time (and some consistency of selection in the halves) for him to develop that at Leeds.

Won't be an issue when we sign Brough at the end of the season.
