Was it just me, or did anyone else think Fielden was totally battered by the Wire players today.

Adrian Morley was outstanding. Richard Mathers was very impressive also. Probably his best game since his MOTM V Leeds last season. (Anyone who thinks Leeds should offer Stuart Fielden a lifeline should be made to watch that game tonight.)



Phil Clarke was right on the re-starts though.

What was Clarke’s beef with the penalty restarts?

When Monaghan was tapping the ball from a restart after a penalty lick to touch, he wasn't tapping it the 10mtr in, more like 15m - 20mtr.



He was correct though, stuff like that even gets pulled up in the amateur game, but he was over emotional and obviously distressed by it.
