was the stewarding sufficent on saturday?

Stewards IMO did a great job and the club have one thing to be proud of, they did not go in heavy handed and contained the problem quickly. They did this by walking the idiots gathered close to the corner back as far as was possible. When the game ended they shepherded them down the vomitory and then legged it back down the pitch access tunnel in the corner and out the back (I think) to make sure they did not goad the Leeds fans leaving the ground.

As soon as I saw how close the Leeds fans were to that corner I said it would cause problems. We have been to the KC on a number of occasions and usually end up sitting at that end, simply because we enter the ground at that end of the stand. We are subjected to quite a bit of abuse which I can handle but it doesn't normally escalate. On this occasion my 7 year old nephew was with us for his first game at the KC, and thankfully we chose to sit at the other end of the stand, otherwise it may have put him off for life.



It needs sorting and it's been going on for years. Why on earth they can't make that section a family stand or something like that is beyond me.



If there were Leeds fans who responded I can understand why but don't necessarily condone it. On a side note, I hope whoever threw his beer at Lauaki does get banned. We don't need that kind of behaviour in our game.

They did nothing about the bloke who threw the pint at Luaki. Then, they failed to kick of the fat bald guy at the bottom of the stand who they'd repeatedly warned to behave throughout the game.

Quite. And I agree with the family stand solution.

The Hull club will not doing anything about it, I know!!



When we played Hull at headingley at the end of the 2007 season I was attacked coming out of the ground and received a broken jaw in 2 places, I've now 2 metal plates in my mouth holding it all together!!



We wrote to both clubs and the rfl, heard nothing back from Hull or the rfl. Leeds on the other hand were great with GH ringing my dad everyweek over a month to see how I was getting on and if there was anything as a club they could do!!



The Hull club is a disgrace, they have problem with their fans at the KC and at away games! Every club as their problem fans, but most clubs try to do something to stop things happening! Hull just dont seem to care!

What was he actually doing though other than having a good time like the rest of us?!?!



We see him in the Southstand, OK he does have a bit too much to drink but he seems a happy drunk who just likes to get the crowd going...



People would be moaning if he was a violent drunk which he isn't!



Like people have already mentioned who ever chucked the pint over Lauaki needs banning for life, as does the Hull 'Fans' who were chucking beer & coins at the Leeds Supporters.



Other than the incidents in the Ground, not a peep of Trouble all day in and around Hull!

Nah then.



He needs his bloody head examining. Fancy throwing good ale away like that. Criminal waste of beer, criminal behaviour.
