I have no interest in favourite tag.



But Wigan can't be classed as favourites.



They haven't come away with the goods in the 2 biggest games they have had.



Both against Leeds.



They have yet to prove themself in this area.



This year they were the most consistent side in the league, but that doesn't win you Super League. It's a different comp now.



This fixture coming up is one where Wigan have failed to evolve from in recent few years.



So they will know the significance. They will feel the pressure.



They can be rattled, they can be got at. I think Leeds may have the edge, even when you consider the sidelined strike force we will have missing.

Without the first 2 names on the team sheet (Macguire & Peacock) I think this will be a game too far against a full strength Wigan.

But we live in hope

Who's at home? Who's rested? Who's won the last four play-off meeting's between the teams? Who are the reigning Champions?



FFS, Leeds fans are unbelievable at times. Fortunately the squad and the coaching staff are unlikely to share your collective pessimism, that's if they can be bothered to show up after reading this thread.

Or you could look at it as:



Who has been the most consistant team his year?



Who has played the best rugby this year?



Who has lost twice to HKR this year?



Who just demolished HKR?



Who has lost the pack leader?



Who has lost their player of the year?



Dispite the above I think we will do it. But I can forgive the doubters as there are some big factors that do warrant a bit of doubt.

I'd look at the fact Wigan will win, your already putting excuses down I can't wait to read them after the game, there will be slot of IFS

Well, irrespective of whatever else happens during the game I will quite publicly state now that, if Wigan win it, it will be because they scored more points than us. However, if we do win, we will have without any question of doubt, have scored more points than them to do so!
