i think biff and cross would have offered us a bit more go forward, clarky has come along way in 12 months, we may have still lost but i think we these three players in the 17 we'd have seen a much more competitive scoreline

agreed why is JP playing so many minutes, yeah its gonna take him a while yet to get back into the full swing, but he shouldnt have to play so many minutes when theres biff and cross who for whatever reason unable to get in the team.



i know im going on about burgess and cross, but burgess has been one of our best forwards this year, and cross although hes made some cock up hasnt really been given a chance, i think now JP is back then cross could fit in well

On recent showings none of our England players should get selected next Friday (bar Peacock who only gets in because he's captain) so we might not have as many selection headaches for the Hull KR game which is a potential bannana skin...although given the last two games, if all our players get selected for England & The Exciles it will force McDermott's hand into making changes which might be the kick start we need.



Lose next week at home (again) and the knifes will really be out for McDermott

Why is it a must win?

The last two games were must wins to get a top 4 spot.

Now we are just playing for a playoff spot and hope form will return in the playoffs.(which it won't)

we will never get anywhere with the current coach and we need to a major cull to the team.tonight gaskell,forester and lomax rang us raggied. youth players we need to either by new up and coming talent,better player than hauraki and start a transisional period its hard to say we not a top team now. we need to get rid of mcdermott and get through this season and make a new plan with a more youth team it mat take a couple of seasons but with the right coach and investment in youth and youth from within we willbe back but as as it stands we are stale,old and lacking direction from a coach weild the axe sooner rather than later...

I don't remember Leeds cancelling any game due to International selection under the stewardship of GH. I don't expect that to start now, and given their performances tonight and last week, maybe only Peacock (as captain) will get selected?



Regardless, if you don't win your home games (we don't have a great record so far this year do we...) you don't deserve to make the play offs.

People can take getting beat by Warrington and Saints BUT the performances have been dire and i don't think we dare get beat by Hull KR at HQ.

Did anyone cop McDermott's comments re Cross when asked what the situation was with him in this weeks Carnegie Insight interview. He couldnt even properly explain why Cross wasnt getting selected each week. He obviously thinks Hauaraki is a better option, which is worrying, and Biff and Pitts dont seem to be getting the rub of the green either. One has to say Macs team selections leave me for one baffled sometimes.

Lose to Hull KR next week, and it will be time for action, because this is becoming a bit of a joke now, having to listen to McDermott speaking in riddles to explain how we managed to get stuffed again (and again!)!!!!!
