RIP Leon



Thoughts and prayers are with Leons family, friends and the Wakefield Wildcats.

This may sound stupid and you may laugh at me as i didnt know the lad etc





I feel so upset about this, this game to me is such a close sport in terms of fans, players, clubs etc (I know sometimes its not shown on the boards, but ive seen it in St Helens this weekend) and for somebody to lose their life playing it is so heartbreaking



My heart goes out to the Family and to [ueveryone[/u connected to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, a horrible last 6 months for the club

It doesn't sound stupid at all i think a lot will agree with you. The fact it happened on the pitch and to one so young makes it even worse somehow and I admit I had a tear in my eye when the official statement was read.



News like this certainly puts things into perspective.

Above & Beyond - not stupid at all, I feel exactly the same.



Absolutely tragic & I feel so sad for Leon's family & also the Wakefield club & their fans.

Just wanted to offer my sincere condolences to all Leons friends and family. I am sure that the whole rugby league family feels the same.

This is desperately sad news. Our players play a hard, hard game and risk so much for the rugby league we love. My thoughts are with young Leon, his family and team mates.
