| Quote Juan Cornetto="Juan Cornetto"Interesting comments and would explain why we underperformed formuch of last season. The quality of rugby deteriorated and there were many occasions when we had no game plan "A" let alone a "B". No wonder it is taking time to relearn our forgotten passing skills.'"
I wouldn't argue with any thing that Keith said, although, The standard of rugby produced against the Quins was the worst I had seen in recent years. You can only use the excuse of blaming the coach once.
Liked his ideas re player management and building up RL player's profiles.

| People can say what they like but there's no hiding from the fact that Keith Senior is Super League's Greatest Ever Centre.

| Quote Andy Gilder="Andy Gilder"Players in "looking for someone else to blame when they're not winning" shocker.
I'm sure if you'd interviewed those exact same players at the end of the following three seasons their answers would have been markedly different.'"
Agreed surely the days during the week the players should have been asking what the game plan was

............and arguably it's greatest ever player if you look at longevity, games played, tries scored, medals won etc.

I don't know what game you were watching, but I could list at least 15 performances last season that were worse than that game. It's not just about the result.
IMO the performance against the Bulls was worse than the Quins one.
Unless of course you want to seperate the game into two areas, attack and defence? if you are only talking about defence, then I am a little closer to agreeing with you. If you are talking about attack, then you need to relook at last seasons performances. If you are talking about overall performance, again I would advise relooking at last season.

Yup. It's a strong argument and a worthy one but harder to quantify.
Even in recent years, his best has come and gone, but he not only survives in Super League he thrives. He more than holds his own compared to his fellow countryman pretenders.
Who would his nearest contender be? Can of worms opened.......

| Quote G1="G1"What did you think of the fact that Keith has the respect of the players from the NRL he has faced?'"
I would imagine most players have respect for their fellow professionals and that would include opposition players.

Putting aside the Blue & Amber spectacles...
Keiron Cunningham would get my vote.

What about the international scene? How would KC be judged there? He was a fine domestic player.

Neutrally, Cunningham is the obvious answer. In terms of longevity, importance to team, and trophies won, then Long, Deacon and Peacock would be around too.
If we're only allowing players who have been consistently outstanding at international level then we'd have an empty list.
