The facts of the case were established at the hearing. It's a total nonsense that either of them are facing prison, CS at a push, which incidently is all that Pryce did. It'll make a complete mockery of the justice system if either get a custodial sentance. |

You dont think that what happened inside the house was aggravated by two blokes forcibly breaking into a property while intoxicated to confront a woman?
The offence of common assault doesn't just relate to physical contact, it also includes placing the victim in fear of assault IIRC. This wasn't two drunk blokes going at it in a street, this was two grown men who had ample opportunity to reconsider forcing their way into a property to confront someone. |

If two very big drunk blokes (one of them with a criminal record for violence) smashed their way into your house to confront your wife and then assaulted you, then were found guilty and sentenced to CS "at a push" how would you feel? I can guarantee that you would be crying like a b***ch about how the criminal justice system was a joke.
