He still chose to go when the club needed him most imo and he'd already "given up"during the season!
Yes we did know his intentions and in the end the club made plenty of money out of the deal but when it comes to "team of the decade" he doesn't feature imo and mcguire thoroughly deserves the 6 spot.
His talent is unquestionable but his departure could of been dealt with better plus this current legacy began to take shape when he was long gone hence his omission from the team of the decade. |

I wouldn't have but there again I don't think Harris went to Rugby Union just for the money either.
[size=75I got made redundant in 1990 (GEC, Farsley) and was offered a promotion within the group but I had to transfer to Birmingham. I turned it down (with no other job in view) because I couldn't see myself being anywhere else but in Leeds for the rugby. Ironically I've lived in Lincoln for the past twelve years.[/size
