Once his back went he never produced the top notch performances that he regularly demonstrated in his early Leeds career. A total liability for the past 12 months. Catalans have certainly cooled their interest in him so its back to NZ for once upon a time superman.

It's a shame his time with us ends in this way, he's been a fantastic player for us during the vast majority of his time here and been an integral part of our Grand Final wins - coming up with the goods in the big games.

Been one of our most important players in attack since he's been here. Would have liked to have seen him get a fair well appearance on Friday night.

My favourite Webb moment was the game at Harlequins in 07(?) it was a baking hot summer Sunday morning and he scored two and got sin binned and had a stormer of a game

Remember it - we played midday or something in 30+ degrees. Actually played four quarters of 20 mins to allow water breaks. Webb was excellent in attack but commited about 3 high tackles for which he was banned I think.



Overall, a very good player for Leeds - the best full back in SL in his day. A shame his time ended with that abysmal showing at Wakefield.
