We still have the small matter of beating them at our middin.



If I am counting any chickens I won't do like the Saints fans have done these last two years and by shooting my load too quickly.

Although confident we can win the "Big One" again this year anybody would be very foolish to write stains off.

Despite the fact that more teams have won it from top than have not!



Saints have chocked in the GF for the past 2 years, it had nothing to do with finishing top of the league.

For me, that doesn't give enough credit to the immense performance from our boys, especially 2008

I agree, the best team won on both occasions but Saints were heavy favorites for both finals.

The league leaders shield is a nice to have, but is only worth something if you back it up in the play-offs.



Currently we have neither, and form can change around quite quickly (although Saints seem dire at the moment, and there are a lot of parallels with Leeds in 2006)

Very true.



However, you have form and confidence going into the playoffs, where as we are playing like s*it.
