Nearly every year you can tell who will do the business simply on form going into the play-offs (remember Bulls in 2005?). Saints are potentially the best team in SL but this means absolutely nothing the way their form has disapeared down the toilet.



Maybe they will pick up the SL biggest tosspot trophy for Sean "Bob Marley" Long.

Yes, keep perpetuating that myth - they were only heavy favourites according to a few Leeds fan (who should have shown a bit more faith in their team).



Last year it was about even with the bookies on the day, with Leeds big favourites at the start of the season.



We were very slight favourites in 2007 but again there wasn't much in it.

I reckon you worms will turn it on in the playoffs.



But from experience, when you are playing poorly in the months before the playoffs it never ends well.

What about the form of Leeds and Saints in last year's GF qualifier. What could you tell from that?

Depends on the personnel we get back from injury, Maurie and Cayless are much needed to give the other props a more equal workload.



We just look crap at the moment.

From that match I would say that most Rhinos fans would be soiling themselves, but the way we then played against Wigan after that proved to me that there was no favourite for the final. People were reading too much into Saints v Rhinos and forgetting how we demolished an in-form Wigan.

That was one game.



The form of leeds the in weeks leading up to the playoffs was pretty good.



we thrashed wigan and cas i think, ground a victory against bradford and beat a determind wakey team.
