When Monaghan was tapping the ball from a restart after a penalty lick to touch, he wasn't tapping it the 10mtr in, more like 15m - 20mtr.
He was correct though, stuff like that even gets pulled up in the amateur game, but he was over emotional and obviously distressed by it. |

He was yer right but he never gets "over-emotional" when fatty-av-u-seen-her never plays the ball correctly,o'loughlin's failure to tackle below the shoulders or when the pies take all day at the ptb.

It doesn't bother me how he sounded to be honest, the point he was making was correct, just as he was last season when twenty metre re-starts were not taken in the centre of the line.
There are even pitch markings for the penalty re-starts.
The rules probably (?) call for a scrum with head and feed to the non offending team in such instances. |
