Just a quick one, anyone know a good pub for away fans at Widnes. Getting train over for Leeds game next Sunday and wondered which drinking hole is best for us!!!

We were in the pub on the corner near the ground last season, seemed ok but it was for a saints match. Don't think it would be as friendly for a widnes game

Never had any problems at that pub on the corner. Shame they've got rid of the circular pool table. It was in interesting curio.
The only thing wrong with the place was that they seemed to ignore you in favour of the locals.

Widnes is a lovely place, full of hospitable welcoming people. Much like their pack in the late 80's / early 90's.
I'd go as far to say that the welcome recieved @ Widnes in the past was almost as enjoyable as that experienced at the Boulevard.
