Most sporting teams suffer the peaks and troughs of achievement . It would be impossible to win the treble every year if not completely boring.
After our staggering run of success in recent years I was quite prepared to suffer a couple of seasons in the doldrums .
We would then be back challenging for honours. I am starting to think that for one reason or another we may not have the structure in the present team to rebuild.
We have players on short term contracts and two key team members not far away from retirement . Plus a coach who seems to have reached the end of his shelf life.
Regretfully we also have several players who are not good enough for Leeds rhinos .
Not a perfect scenario to rebuild is it.
Of course we can, those who have followed Leeds since the 1970's have seen this many times. But under the present coach NO, we will be lucky to still be in the Super League next year
