I'd give Gilly another season. He's still a quality player, although I get the feeling he may go.

Aye his pace for a back rower is great, i'd give him 2 years me..

If the price is right he's worth keeping because the youngsters coming through aren't quite there yet.

I think Gilly's well worth another 12 month contract and I hope he gets one but,as Blobby said,I can see him moving on.

I hope gilly gets a new deal. IMO a 2 year deal wouldn't be a bad thing as he still very fit and still got his pace.



I think we will have the long situation where gilly will want 2 years but saints will only offer 1.



I agree with the post that says the young back rows are just a tad off being regular 1st team players just yet.

I'd be glad to see Gilly given one more year to allow Dixon and Ashurst to develop more before being thrown into week-in, week-out Super League.

I would offer him another contract, he is a very underrated player.

He also covers a lot of postions if we have players out which he has done very well for saints in his time at saints.

I'd prefer to see him at Saints, but the development of Ashurst and company means the shortfall won't be great. And if the money saved allows us room under the cap to buy a prop I say go for it.

With the players we have lost last year and longy going next year I would say we are well under the cap.



Longy,scully and cayless was prob 3 top earners at saints.
