I too received this email. Kinda intriguing and mysterious. I like the badge, is this to be the new club crest? How long have we had the current design for?? And does this mean we're rebranding the club as Saints RL? Sounds modern, and thats always a good thing - but why is the name of the town being dropped?

I don't like that either, loses a big bit of our identity



Don't mind the badge (doesn't obliterate my tattoo!!) and the way the vid is put together suggests this will be our future branding.

We already have 3 logos - one the crest, one the intertwined S&H and one the cr*ppy "Saints" written diagonally. I suspect this is replacing one of the latter two rather than the former.



I deleted the email anyway because, like some on here (no fingers at you) I prefer to b*tch and moan about being kept in the dark rather than acknowledging how certain people have put their hands deep into their pockets and worked tirelessly to build a largely ungrateful fan base a brand new stadium whilst retaining a competitive team.



Same old Saints, always doing well and not telling me about it, I might not go on Sunday. POTTER OUT!

Perhaps thats the intention? Stadium big falls down, Saints moving to Bootle where Everton were supposed to be going.

My measley office bandwidth struggled with all the graphics so I presume it will have a "skip intro" option when its up and running.

We don't need a new badge, and we don't need to be branded at Saints RL. St Helens RLFC is our name and thats how it should stay. We are known at the Saints, but we are St.Helens RLFc and we should always be St.Helens RLFC, IMO.

. . . . yet your avatar directly represents a recent rebranding of our badge?

Shall we go back to the blue and white vertical stripes then?



Shall we go back to our original name of 'St Helens Rugby Union Club' and rejoin the 15 man code as well then?



Don't resist something because it's 'how it's always been' during your time. Saints need to step up on the commercial side, get bigger crowds and earn more money. If rebranding helps with that, great in my opinion.



And it's just a badge on a flash website. It's not an official name change as yet.
