I'm talking about the bit highlighted. Not in any way do I try and make out he was an angel, he clearly wasn't. I just found the bit highlighted unfair and disrespectful. Granted he was no saint on the pitch, but he didn't deserve what came of him.







That post was quickly removed as you well know. So there was no point discussing it further as it was clearly wrong and rightfully removed.





Well you should know better than anyone then that one's actions on the field shouldn't be all that they are judged on. Perhaps you should think about that before you comment further on Sam.

That post about millward/Newton was on the board for 38 mins before it was removed and not one pie made a comment including you spooge.



I knew Terry off the pitch and it's why I made the comment, I can only take the runt how i find him and I find him a horrible cheating runt.

Fans of a sport judge players of that sport by their actions on the field. Most of us don't meet players never mind get to know them and ultimately we aren't interested: we want our players to perform well on the pitch.



So to blather on about what Newton or Tomkins or anyone is like off the pitch is irrelevant. We judge them all by what they are like ON the pitch. And Newton was a thug.

Well I'll have to take you word for it on the amount if time it was visible. The fact that nobody made a comment isn't a bad thing. At least know one agreed with it. For all I or you know there may have been various PM's sent by numerous posters requesting that posted to be removed. It can take a while for an offensive post to removed if there isn't a mod on duty I believe. But thankfully in the end it was removed.



Well that's a shame you judge someone on 80 minutes of rugby that you may see 15 times a year at max. I've met Sam twice outside of rugby and I can assure you he's a thoroughly nice chap. I've yet to hear from anyone that he's anything else of the pitch.

So we've had, sticking two fingers at fans, punching, kicking, pulling hair and gouging plus the usual underhanded tactics

Not to mention Briers lodging a complaint to the match commisioner over Coley stamping on his hand after a tackle...



They certainly don't take it very well when teams stand up to them in the middle

I met Sculthorpe once and he was a lovely chap too, but on the pitch i would expect him to rip my head off.



This off the pitch defence is laughable, we judge players on how they play the game.

Sonny Knuckle was a great bloke off the pitch as well, but a 'serial killer offender" on it.
