I've been told the screen on the Touch HD is better but Windows Mobile 6.1 is poor. Win Mobile 6.5 is out soon and is apparently much better for phones.
The Hero has Google Android which is supposed to be faster and better for Touch Screens. |

I have the Samsung M8800 Pixon and that is a good little phone, although I am tempted to upgrade to the HTC Hero when my contract runs out in 6 months.

I'm sure it is but I need 1200 minutes a month and I don't want to pay £175 for the phone and £44 a month when the Hero is free and £24 a month.

Can't tell you much about the Hero other than to check the reviews on that popular video site, but I have found a good deal on it here, www.dialaphone.co.uk/aw1/search.aspx?oc=DOL45P77 slightly more than your £24 but you get the minutes you need plus unlimited texts & internet, and half price line rental for 6 months.
That said I can heartily recommend the HTC Touch Pro 2 as an alternative. By far the best use of Windows Mobile, you'd barely know it was there it is skinned so well, plus it has a physical slide out qwerty keyboard. Looks better than an iPhone too! |
