Last week we were told this week and now it's going to be next week.

Someone has posted on total rl that someoen from the club has said next week.

ryan duckett was interviewed on radio leeds and said they were looking to make an announcement in next couple of days, maybe a week at worst. also said something along lines of person announced would calm a lot of nerves (cant remember exact phrase he used)

As long as they get the right man for the job and the coach himself has enough time to negotiate with players for next season, I couldn't give a toss when they announce it.

There's no point announcing it before the end of the season anyway, just let Lee St H have a crack for the next 6 rounds and then sort ourselves out for next year.

I agree with your post to a degree but I feel we need the new coach firstly for some positive vibe from the club. Also we need to sort out the players we want to keep who will soon be out of contract. That`s asuming the announcement is seen as positive by the masses. Also everyone who claimed they were boycotting Odsal until Macca left see you Sunday.

exactly. whilst another week or so is neither here nor there to ensure we make the correct decision ( and probably most important one clubs made for a few years), We cant afford to wait til the end of the season. Whilst we dont need someone to come in immediately on a coaching front we do need the next coach to be making decisions about signings for next year. Otherwise players we want to retain will find other clubs and players we want to bring in will all be snapped up.

Nobody likes playing the waiting game but I expect the new coach is either signed up already or very close to signing up. No point stressing over it too much for the time being.

I think that's very true. I guess you can take forever over the decision and still not be certain it's the right one though, but as you say, time is passing for players who want to know what they are doing next year. We're still in the 'no tampering' season but we all know what a joke that is.
