We cant sack Macca because of all the good work he's done behind the scenes and we cant sack him because we will never sign anymore good juniors and our players will never re-sign for us if Macca is fired.

I think a major problem is that many people consider 'Who should we get in?' and 'Should SM go?' to be unrelated questions. But unless X will do a better job than SM, why get rid of SM? So you need an X and you need to have good reason to think he'll do a better job than SM.



I think some of you don't appreciate what a big move replacing the head coach would be at this point in the club's lifetime. Got to get it right, so that means giving due consideration to both sides of the equation.

TBH i think that my position on this has been very clear. Please don't get me wrong i have never wanted him sacking for the sake it. My argument has always been that he isn't up to the job and as more and more time passes it's becoming more and more clear that he isn't. Nothing more would have pleased me than being wrong and we would be on the up but in truth we aren't. So I will say again it's time for Mr McNamara to be removed from his role.

John Lang would be a very good coach. Would get the respect from the players, has vast experiance and has won the NRL with Penrith.

IMO that argument is a load of tosh. So whats the course of action we just let things get even worse just because the new man might do no better even though the incumbent has shown he's not up to the job.

Who's the guy? Why have you so little confidence that a fair argument can be made that he will do better?
