like i said he's gone.....you lot should be pleased,he's bearly good enough for city-country let alone origin or the kangaroos and should never have been brought over @ 32.

He was brought over at 31, there's plenty of players who aren't good enough for Origin but are good SL players - Pat Richards???? And also he's the best SH in the league when fit.

I agree basically, but the problem with a prop as skipper is that he isn't on the field for half the game. Whether that's a big enough 'but' to change things I dunno. Though, there's no reason to think Potter will just go along with Macca's last year decision on who will be captain.



Maybe Orford as vice captain and then they'll virtually share the job?
