Ok ,,,,, Im gonna back track alittle here ,,,,, what i meant was , that in view of the past two seasons , well if we finish above 10 then we are going in the right direction , rome wasnt build in a day etc etc , yes it is fair to say that ok that would not be a "Success" , Im sure and hope you know what i mean ,,,

You seem to have a fantastic grasp of business. So, how many of each size shirt would you have ordered? I'm not talking "enough for everyone" or equally b0llocks statements, I'm talking actual figures.



You obviously know what the demand is before the fans have seen the shirt, so I'm sure you can rattle off the numbers for us?

Thing people saying there buying shirts off auction sites to deprive club of income fail to realise is who the person selling said item bought it from in first place. So all their doing is paying a middleman a little extra, clubs already had their cut on original sale. Plus doubt auction site accepts the fiver off on their teamcard somehow

exactly the right attitude. If anyone were that desperate to have the new shirt they'd have bought it earlier than now. And its not like club wont be re-stocking. Better to have them in demand, which will cause people to buy earlier next year, rather than have to sell them off a massive overstock at end of year at a loss. By the sounds of it, it isnt as if they have underordered deliberately anyway, misjudged the proportions they needed in the different sizes. Its not like you tick a box when ordering season ticket telling what size shirt you might buy, if you happen to like the design of course

True. What i meant was the ones whining and thinking they were depriving club of any income at all by buying on auction sites werent really. obviously it would be better if they bought from club direct.

They really are deluded if they think its sound business sense to order enough in every conceivable size so any one who could possibly want one could get one and then any overstock could just be dumped at a loss. If we worked like that our finances would be worse than wakeys

didnt the bulls stop anyone else selling the shirts a few years ago. if this is the case the only way the other people selling them could get them is by buying them from the bulls. does anyone know if this is still the case?

Precisely my point. We'll see what Mr. "you can't disagree with my views" comes back with. No doubt it'll be another "I would order just enough" or "I would order a little more than pre-orders" or something equally ambiguous.



Some people seem to be under the delusion that it's easy to order just the right amount of every size. In fact, it's a lottery, especially when they usually have to place the initial order before the shirts are even unveiled, so haven't even had time to gauge public opinion.



As has been very rightly said, if people wanted them badly enough, they could have pre-ordered or bought one as soon as they were out, when there were plenty in stock. If you didn't get one then, you've only yourself to blame IMO. And the right attitude to take in that situation is to accept that and wait for the club to get new ones in a few weeks later. Fair enough though, if they're going to be 3 months before they're in, I can understand buying elsewhere.
