youve got me wrong im not saying he is going anywhere ! maybe an option that we should potentially look into as it would reduce our wage bill and give us the option of retaining both sammut and Nas. we have cover for each position so ye personally i think it would be beneficially for the club to let him go. but ey everyone is entitled to their opinion and personally i think his defence is too shaky for comfort. yes we can make the 8 this year but in big games his shaky defence could cost us important games

Kearney is a million miles better than Sammut. end of. Keep Kearney. offload Sammut

You have Hull FC in the title but I would say that they won't be after Kearney as Gentle has stated in interviews that he plans for Richard Horne to move to fullback following McKinnon's departure.



I think you have a good player in Kearney - when we played you earlier this season he looked dangerous in attack. There would be players in your squad that I would prioritise replacing before Kearney.

OK, I will rephrase it a little simpler:



If we were in a position where we needed to raise cash then realistically Kearney would be my first to go! Unless we can get someone to cough up 100k for Chev Walker or Paul Sykes!!!

I doubt anybody would pay a transfer fee for Kearney.

If we can offload Kearney I would and keep Sammut, for two reasons

What is Windley's best position? Is he a full timer?

Windley is at half/hooker, Naughton is a fullback (he'll be a first teamer in 2 years no problem) goal kicker too.

Thanks for the info on these two guys, its great to know we have some backs/half backs coming through our system at last - seems to be great forwards at the moment.

But herein lies the problem, its about timing. If they are first team ready in 2014 then we need to bridge that time gap. and in my modest opinion Kearney is the best thing we have, or have had for the last 3 years.

A player of great quality and no doubt would be influential to young players in the camp.

Keep Kearney before Sammut every time. I like Sammut, especially in defence where he is superb but there are better options at stand off.

Don't worry, there's plenty of life left in that chequebook.
