HMRC would have petitioned for the compulsory liquidation of the company, bank accounts would have been automatically frozen. Doors locked, contracts void, end of the line.
Admninistration was the only way of protecting the Bulls from HMRC. |

But like you say this is not the last minute. How much do you recon it would take to buy the club out of liquidation or do you not think it will get that far?
If the administrator has to get best value for creditors, then surely the only asset value post liquidation is the physical costs of selling parts of the ground that the bulls still own as the players value will be zero when liquidated as the club will not own them. |

Just thought of one thing that made me smile about the Bulls today - hope the new regime don't try and sign up a certain well respected Assistant Coach from a club west of the pennines - hopefully cost us less than £627k!!! |

If Nobby comes in I think he will be fine. I would expect that the vast majority of fans will not bear any grudges against him, ok, many, and I for one, think it's not the best way for him to come back to the club, but he's a Bradford legend and loves the club.
He's not the main player in all of this. Not by a long shot. |

Not if they've been made redundant. It happened to me I had to work for two months without salary and pay for petrol in people's vans off my own credit card. When the old/new owners bought the business I was given it back. |

I heard one of his family members (brother?) was approched to take over, had a look at the books and didn't fancy it. |

If Noble comes back he will HAVE to earn the respect of the players and the fans. Yes he is a Bradford legend and will get respect for that but this year has been based on respect for Potter and loyalty for the club. Noble must earn the lost respect and it will be extremely tough for him.
