I agree that Newton was a dirty so-and-so back then. I will never doubt that. However the Long incident I still say to this day, was nowhere near what people made it out to be.



In fact, I thought his shot on Gilmour in the same game was worse.

I dont think Rinaldi is the issue. Its only with Rinaldi coming on from the bench we have had any flair at dummy half since Hendo left. As iv mentioned once already this week, Godwin is a waste of time.



Not so miffed about Newton going though. Provided a half back of some description, ideally Craig Wing, is going to be signed.



How would people feel if we had Wing at 6, BJ at 7 and Deacs at 9 with Jules coming off the bench?

Deacs was crap at 9 when he played there before Hendo came.

But playing there against Leeds with BJ and Sykes in the halves we looked better than we did with him in the halves...for me its about accomodating him (cos we all know he isnt getting dropped) in the position where he will get in the way less than all the others. Hooker

I didn't see him as the long term solution for Bradford, he's always been pretty solid but has never really lived up to the hype that follows him around. A good quality hooker with explosive attributes is what we need, someone of Cunningham ilk.

Disappointed that he's going, they are going to be big boots to fill. I suppose it would have been a risk to offer him a 2 yr deal though.

That's them just trying to get rid of him coz he's crap.



Even with Hudson out injured, he still struggled to get a starting role. Cas would rather move Chase or Stu Jones there.
