Another difficult game coming up.  Oldham are unlikely to be the pushovers they were at Boundary Park earlier this season.   That was the game where we scored arguably the try of the season - that kind of attacking play seems like a distant memory doesn't it?   

Don't think there were any injuries picked up at York were there?   Does anyone know if Doro has gone back to HKR?

I am concerned about this game. Oldham are just generating a bit of momentum and won a few games on the bounce. I think they will fancy their chances against the current version of the 2025 Bradford Bulls.


If Doro has departed, we look vulnerable in the pack. 


Holmes might be back to add a bit of a running threat at halfback but I can see this being another frustrating evening. 

This could be the game where Noble's wobble turns into an unrecoverable disaster. Oldham win this and the fans will turn on the team and the whole thing will be toxic. There's already an apathy for the team. 


This isn't the same Oldham we played at boundary Park. They've a number of players back from injury. That's my worry, not once have we stood up in a close quality contest. 


No idea on our line up or how I'd want us to line up. Which hole in the ship do we need to most urgently fix? 


Okunbor wants dropping. Hallas can't be at Hooker. The packs struggling. The defence out wide is leaking. The attacks way off. Zero cohesion of the spine. 

Pretty good summing up there.   In terms of winning close games I also recall our win at Halifax being very much down to Doro.   Had he not played we would've lost that too.


If we drop Okunbor then who do we put on the right?  Carr?  That leaves us hoping Armitage is fit.  I'd swap him and Gill around.   Might shore up the left a bit.


We need Souter back or Lilley to move to hooker when Ott is on the bench.  That means recalling Meadows or more likely putting Holmes there if he's cleared to play.  


The pack without Doro is a worry.   Michael is looking tired.  We lack impact.  Fulton needs a rest.   If Peposhi isn't getting a run now he never will.
