Reading some of the topics on here it seems like some of you thought England might actually make the final.

If it wasn't for an extremely dodgy video ref decision, England would've made the final.



How hard is that to understand? Even for someone from a 2nd world country like New Zealand.

We all hoped we might make the final, I don't think anyone expected to. That said there is absolutely nothing between England and NZ. You won't find two better matched sides anywhere.



I think you'll find most people are happy that we were competitive and are showing signs of progress.

Well we could have drawn with you if we'd wanted with that penalty at the end.



Plus we basically beat Australia.



So undefeated with five points morally.

The OP looks to be shiite stirring, but is right.



England at RL and RU for that matter involves 20/30 mins of adventure and creativity followed by 50/60 mins of holding on.



Which shows a lack of fitness, ability and mental toughness in some or other proportion.

Nope....I've scanned the press and media sites of the globe and they all still have Australia as having won that game.





Actually......on a plane home with the receipt for a new door!



England played 3, won 1. Anything else is just opinion.....

He better find himself a bar job to pay for it as I doubt he will ever get a first grade NRL game with the Faders

Fortunately for him I highly doubt he's on a pay as you play deal.

Personally I went into the tournament expecting an easy win against Samoa, a complete hiding from the Aussies and salt in the wounds and another beating from the Kiwis, I have been very pleasantly suprised and enjoyed the tournament immensly and I hope the Final lives up to expectation.



I thought two England performances were good (Not sure about the Samoa game, either we were under par or they were better than expected).



Against Oz', we had two crucial chances to win the game, with breaks of 3 against 2, sadly on both occasions the ball carrier held on for too long. If just once the ball had been passed wide the game would've been won and thats without any "fingertip-gate" discussion, which to me is irrelivent, the ref said NO, end of!.



Against the Kiwis, if Ryan Hall doesn't lose his grip, we win, sadly he did, so we lose.



It's been ages since I last felt we were about to win, well ages against Oz', only last year against the Kiwis to be fair, but I'm sure you all know what I mean. The only dissapointment is that Samoa will be replaced by Scotland next time, surely there should be a play-off or something?

If anyone should know what it takes to get a bar job, it's a Kiwi.
