What's driving me mad is I can see that there are cheap tickets available, but they're not showing up on the public websites. Those tickets wouldn't show on my system if they didn't exist.
I can put in an advance ticket leaving Manchester at 5:25am to London returning on the 18:00 from Euston. Two seperate advanced singles are £11.50 each. |

If I put them in as singles on NRE it comes up as £17 outward and £23.50 inward.

Right. For people travelling back on the Sunday if you buy a ticket for the return part of your journey on NRE for the 8:10 from London to Manchester it should come in at £17.
I'll keep at it.

Right. Those £11.50 tickets are on the NRE site, but only show as available in the afternoon. On my work computer I can book them in the morning. Hmm.

If anyone's interested I have a spare train ticket from Crewe to London Euston going down on Friday 4th. Cost £11.50, departs Crewe 14.56 arrives Euston 16.38.
I also have three spare tickets coming back after the match (Saturday 5th November) going to Chester via Warrington. They cost £23.50 each, depart Euston 20.31, arrive Warrington 22.53 and arrive Chester 23.26.
