League Weekly over League Express for me. Editorial of Danny Lockwood is far superior to that of Martin Sadler. Andy Wilson and Ian Millward are probably the two best columnists writing about rugby league at the moment.

Here in lay the difference. LE work in the basis of facts and direct contact with clubs via the close relationships they have developed with in the game over the last 20 years.

You can't judge LW by Nosey Parker. That's just a gossip column. I suppose you think people like Ray French, Andy Wilson and Ian Millward have no contact with clubs eh? And all the quotes they get from coaches, players, chief execs... are we to assume they've been made up? I'm no LW apologist - there's a lot they could do better - but I've never got this fawning over LE. It's a complete waste of money imo. |

I sent Bullman a PM asking him/her for ideas and suggestions about how we could improve League Express (all views welcome, by the way). I had a look through his/her previous posts after I sent it, and most of them seem to be either promoting or defending League Weekly and Game On magazine (which LW produced).
Do you think I'm on to something, or is this just a coincidence? |
