25 minute bus ride from Bolton or Wigan (buses every 10 minutes from either), or if you are going via Manchester then a train from Victoria to Atherton and 10 minute bus/taxi ride, or even get the bus from Shudehill. Job's a good 'un.

This fixture has built up no momentum and should have stayed in France. Despite the gallant effort from the French at Doncaster in the 4 nations they have conceded big scores in the last 2 mid season tests and that is with home advantage.



This game should continue to be played in the South of France until such time as the gap has been narrowed by the raising of the standard of the French team. This fixture will remain a non-event with the English public until that time.

Leigh is a bit of Nightmare to get to, I can see where he is coming from. There won't be all that many coming over from Yorkshire and it will be a muddle of Wigan, Saints, Leigh & Warrington supporters there. It should be a good game. it's a lovely little stadium, glad it's getting these types of games.

because the 3 big teams in the NW are playing on the same weekend less supporters are going to come & watch the national team at the LSV hence they'll be lucky to get 8000 when it should be 12000.

Yes they have thats why it kicks off at 3pm with England Football playing at 7:30pm that evening. It clashes with Korea v Greece and Argentina v Nigeria.

With the 4 nations being down under this year and the French competing in the european comp , this will be the only 1 st grade international played in England this year

My point being that this could put off a fair few from Yorkshire. With it's very poor transport links, it would take me over two hours to get back to Sheffield on public transport, which means i'd be struggling to make it for the start of the England game. Our group of 6 has already ruled it out based on this alone and i'd be astounded if we were the only ones thinking this way.

My point is though cost isn't an issue as most are season tickets holders and two of the teams are at home. Therefore I will go. If we were away at Hull or somewhere like that I would then have to fork out petrol and ticket money.

the rfl is a joke. no games should be played on the weekend of the england match.
