In the Wire end right near us we had Saints, Leeds, Wigan fans among others and got on with them. The Leeds fans were even shaking hands at full time and saying well done.
Our 4 tickets were on row 1 and row 2 right behind the sticks, so I couldn't see the trouble in the corner so just kept watching the game.

As a Leeds fan next to the screen at our end, we could hear the booing and see the brawl from probably 150 metres away. There seemed to be a lot get involved. Didnt it clear about 50 seats or so?

And 3 years ago in the grand final an amateur teams fans from the Hull area caused a mass brawl in the Saints end of OT. |

There are two main points:
1. The part about insisting on standing up struck me as something that Leeds United do. I've seen those two-celled half-wits do it. That's why I raised it.
2.Football fans are inferior to rugby fans, because they follow an inferior game, cry too much, and can only hunt in packs. |

yea every team does but when you go to watch your team against wire all you get is abuse and people gauding you all the game in and out of the ground i remember not so long ago sharpen down pennies golf balls and beer bottles being hurld by wire fans so most sets of fans are angles compared to these lot not all wire fans i may add but alot of idoits

The fight kicked off because a Wigan fan got a bit too excited, and a few equally as daft Warrington fans took him up.

There was a riot at a tube station apparantly. Leeds utd were playing down there too so i imagine it was them rather than the rugby lot.
It was hugely annoying as it took us on an hour odd detour after they shut the tube line
