The Man of Steel award is not the be-all and end-all for me. Sam Tomkins RLWA Player of the Year 2011? You can't really see the following happening for Rangi Chase.....

Tomkins is special loved the run where he turned benji inside out twice! i also rate ranji and hes a great line runner and can do something special from nothing just hasnt had the form at the moment but hopefully it comes out for the big one next week. come on england!

Absolutely. He just has that 'x-factor' that very few players have. I have no doubt that he will go on to become one of the games all-time greats. |

tomkins is the best player in SL.... i don't mind admitting that.
i cant see a forward i would swap for westwood though....im not even sure i would swap him for roby... not when we have monaghan anyway.... him and waterhouse is going to be amazing next season.

I think Ben Westwood is absolutely fantastic. The man is just a machine, I would love to have him at the KC Stadium. |

its amazing to think how far he has come since we signed him as a rubbish centre.
when you see him in the flesh he doesn't seem to be that big...not next to someone like Morley anyway... then you watch him play and his work rate is incredible..... he is a freak. |

It's funny because my mate doesn't rate him due to the fact that he's a 'penalty-machine' in his opinion but i just say compare that to the metres and tackles he makes over 80 minutes. Saying that, there are a lot of your players that I would bring to the KC if I could haha. |

when you watch warrington every week you walk away raving about Westwood 9/10 games... yes he gives away a few penaltys... but he more than makes up for them....is there a better second row in the league? |
