He mentions it's a '4 team tournament', i'm impressed by this comment, we'd have heard it's a 3 team tournament not long ago, so that's progression for the sport

The funny thing is, its clear from the posts on this forum that the World Cup is going very well. People are loving the games involving the lesser nations and crowds have been good.

I was living a happy life without his insight so I've decided to by pass curiosity and not click on the link. There are enough opinions on here that I don't agree with, without actively looking for other people who I disagree with.

I don't really understand why someone goes out of their way to slag something off that has no effect on them, and that it's fans enjoy so much.

Why do people get so wound up by things that don't concern them? Even if 4 people watched Rugby League, why would it bother him?! The 'World' cup. So what? You don't like it, won't watch it pal.

And is obviously so much less credible than the (at max) 5 team tournament that the Union World Cup is.

To be honest, when the Union WC comes along, I can only see one team winning it......
