Even though Leeds won 3 of the 4 games against Saints in 07, concluding with one of the widest winning margins in GF history?

| Saints were big fabourites going into both of those grand finals. All round I thought they were a much better side, they also won the cup both seasons too. The league table in 08 ended up close but IIRC saints let slip something like a 6 point lead at one point as they cruised into the business end

you should try it some time, it makes much more sense than the Dally style of just repeating idiotic statements, untruths, and then quickly trying to change the subject when his idiocy has been shown up
a little like you're trying now
do you want to log in as Barry now? try and pretend there is another idiot as big as you out there?'"
well i couldve also mentioned the fact that anderson won 2 CC finals, the league leaders shield, made 2 SL grand finals where they were strong favourites in the first.

| Quote Phuzzy="Phuzzy"Brian Smith, John Monie or Daniel Anderson ring any bells? And don't give me the "they were NRL coaches before going to SL" Bollox! You can't only include the ones that suit your argument...well not unless you're a pea-brained Ocker, in which case you can continue to spout she-ite and no one will be in the least bit surprised. I'm sure you're also aware and choosing to ignore the fact that McGuire was being head hunted for at least 2 current NRL head coaches jobs before accepting the Wigan post.'"
again, were established NRL / ARL coaches prior to SL gigs. think about it, youll get there eventually.

| I know the post is largely a windup, i'm just wondering what Slater did massively wrong against NZ. If people are blaming him for Sau's try, I don't think there's a FB in the world who would have stopped him on his own (and it essentially was on his own as JT was being a powder puff from the side, and Hannant was always going to be ineffective stopping Sau from behind him)

hey brian mclennan is a really good coach.
but a game plan consisting of having a cup of kava before the game doesnt work in the nrl.

...exactly. Just a bit of pre-match banter. The Aussies aren't immune to mistakes and we should give them plenty of stick on saturday.

yet it worked repeatedly on the Aussie national side and against australian coaches
i was there, at Elland Road, when Brian Mclennan and his team annihilated Wayne Bennets Australia,
I was there at Elland Road when Brian Mclennans team beat Craig Bellamys side
and i watched Brian Mclennans side smash Daniel Andersons side, when arguably in all three matches he had the weaker squad to work with
if he has the inbreds angry, Brian Mclennan must be doing something right
